Deputy Prime Ministers of Montenegro and the Republic of Turkey Milutin Simović and Recep Akdağ assessed today in Ankara that the common goal of the two governments is to amend the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Montenegro and the Republic of Turkey with the goal of further liberalization and creation of additional preferences as well as raising the annual trade exchange level from the current $ 75 million to $ 250 million in the next four years.

At the meeting, held within the 4th session of the Mixed Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, the officials discussed the Turkish experience in the implementation of the private-public partnership model in the implementation and financing of capital projects of public interest primarily in health, transport infrastructure and education. DPM Akdağ expressed his willingness to send a special expert team in Montenegro to present Turkish models and experiences.
