PM Marković hosts inaugural visit of Canadian Ambassador Kati Csaba

Podgorica, Montenegro (30 January 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Markovic hosted earlier today the inaugural visit of Ambassador of Canada Kati Csaba.

It was concluded that the two countries foster friendly relations and that there is room for their improvement in terms of economy. In that context, the Prime Minister pledged for a stronger presence of the Canadian businesses in Montenegro, noting that Montenegro has shown that it represents a safe and attractive environment for investment.

Prime Minister Marković thanked Canada for supporting Montenegro's Euro-Atlantic integration and stressed that Montenegro, as a NATO member, assumed all the responsibilities the membership implies. Congratulating Prime Minister Marković on Monenegro's membership in NATO, Ambassador Csaba said that the two countries will continue their cooperation as partners. 

She also stated that Montenegro is an important factor in maintaining stability of the Western Balkan region.
