With a view to completing the normative system in the field of property relations, at today’s Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic, the Government of Montenegro approved the State Property Bill. In line with the achieved level of reform in overall socioeconomic relations, the Bill regulates the procedure for managing, using, keeping records of and protecting the property and other assets that belong to the State of Montenegro or local governments. In addition, the Bill identifies public interest in managing natural resources and property in public use and provides that these assets can never be owned by private entities.
