Branko Vujovic was born in Cetinje on September 26, 1951. He graduated Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica. He is married, has two children and lives in Cetinje.

In the year 1977 he got employed in “Obod”, Cetinje and worked until 1997. During that period he performed works on the position of engineer, constructor and technologist; he was the project leader for construction of Basket and Grid Factory in Plav; he was Director of the Factory for Horizontal Freezers and Director of the Tool-room; member of the management board and General director of the Holding Company “Obod”.

In the year 1997 he was appointed as a member of the Government of the Republic of Montenegro, to the position of the Minster of Trade.

Since the year 1998 he has been performing works as the Director of the Agency of Montenegro for Economic Restructuring and Foreign Investments.

He is a member of the Privatization Council of the Government of Montenegro and president of the Tender Commission.

In June 2009 he was appointed as the Minster of Economy of the Government of Montenegro.
