Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Prof Dr Gordana Djurovic met today with Deputy Chief of the OSCE ODIHR Election Observation Mission to Montenegro Beata Martin-Rozumilowicz and the Mission’s Chief Analyst for Gender Equality Maurizia Marantonio. The meeting focused on the forthcoming parliamentary elections in the context of the participation of minorities in the process and an analysis of the state of gender equality in the election campaign and the participation of women in different structures of the executive, judiciary and parliamentary branches of government.

Press release: Montenegro and EU sign bilateral agreement on WTO accession |

Montenegro and the European Union have today signed a bilateral agreement on Montenegro’s accession to the World Trade Organization. The Agreement was signed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Gordana Djurovic and Director General of the Commission’s Directorate General for Trade David O’Sullivan.
The signing of the Agreement completes the process of bilateral negotiations between the EU and Montenegro opened in 2005. The Community is the first WTO member to conclude bilateral talks with Montenegro.
