Today, 10 tons of aid from our ally Poland were delivered to Montenegro, within the NATO mechanism of the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC).

Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Montenegro Artur Dmochowski expressed satisfaction, saying that it was about helping the allied country in NATO and the country that is on its way to the European Union.

"We are friends, we are in Central Europe together. It is an opportunity to show our solidarity. If not exactly as a close neighbour, then a country that is close to us in Central Europe, in the middle of our continent," said Ambassador Dmochowski during the handover of the donation.

Ljubomir Mišurović, Acting Director General of the Directorate General for Economic and Cultural Diplomacy thanked Poland on behalf of the Government and the National Coordination Body.

"From the very beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the Republic of Poland calls for international cooperation and solidarity, which is confirmed by today's gift for the Montenegrin health system, which consists of 10,000 liters of disinfectant liquid and 100,000 protective masks. This is a confirmation of good and friendly relations between Montenegro and Poland, and on this occasion, on behalf of the Government and the National Coordination Body, I would like to express my gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Montenegro for their solidarity and valuable assistance," Mišurović said.
