Danijela Nedeljković Vukčević

Acting Director General of the Directorate for Normative Regulation of the Public Administration System and Harmonization of Regulations

Danijela Nedeljković Vukčević was born in Podgorica.

Education

She completed primary and secondary school in Belgrade, and graduated from the Faculty of Law.

Career

She built her career in public administration and gained rich work experience in various jobs. She started her working engagement in state bodies on administrative tasks (first-instance and second-instance administrative procedure), then on normative and other tasks related to public administration reform.

She independently prepared and coordinated the preparation of numerous laws and other regulations, strategies and programs in this area. The Law on Civil Servants and State Employees, which reformed the civil service system, and the Law on State Administration as a basis for modernization and reorganization of the state administration system.

She also participated in the preparation of other laws in the field of public administration systems, such as the Law on Administrative Procedure, the Law on Free Access to Information, the Law on Inspection Supervision, etc., as well as numerous other bylaws.

In addition to normative work, she actively participated in the preparation of strategic documents - Plan for internal reorganization of the public sector 2013-2017, Public Administration Reform Strategy 2016-2020 and others.

In her work so far, she has also been a member of the Appeals Commission, as well as a member of the Working Group for the negotiation chapter 32, which refers to financial supervision.

She is a member of the Special Group for Public Administration Reform, which has been established between Montenegro and the European Commission since its establishment. She is an examiner in the Commission for taking the professional exam for work in state bodies and a certified lecturer on the topic of administrative procedure. She has held numerous seminars and lectures in the field of civil service relations.

For the purpose of professional development, she participated in numerous conferences, workshops, seminars and international events.

She is dedicated to work in the state administration. During her work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Public Administration, she worked closely with other state bodies, bodies of local self-government units, the University, trade unions, the economy, non-governmental organizations, international organizations and citizens.

She has been awarded twice as a clerk for outstanding achievements in her work.

For the Acting Director of the Directorate for Normative Regulation of the Public Administration System and Harmonization of Regulations she has been appointed by the act of the Government of Montenegro, on April 15, 2021.

She speaks English and Italian language.
