Minister Radulovic at the Dubrovnik Forum: "Together in a divided world" - is a story about the importance of togetherness and good intentions

"The Western Balkans is an important link in Europe, and the EU is an incomplete puzzle without the important part it lacks today," said Foreign Minister Djordje Radulovic at the 14th Dubrovnik Forum entitled "(Post) Pandemic Geopolitics: Together in a Divided World." ', where he participates at the invitation of the Head of Diplomacy of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlic Radman.

Within the panel "International Community and Western Balkans: how to end quarantine", Minister Radulovic said that Montenegro, as a NATO member, remains coherent to its principles, namely peace and stability in the region, European values and the main foreign policy goal - membership in the European Union.

"Together in a divided world", as stated in the title of this year's Forum, Minister Radulovic pointed out, is the story of that very intention and importance of unity because the pandemic has slowed down certain political and economic mechanisms at the global level. Therefore, as he stated, we must react decisively, continue reforms on the basis of what has been done well in the past.

During the Forum, as well as on its margins, Minister Radulovic met with officials from countries of the region and the EU.

During the meeting with Naser Kamel, Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean, he emphasized the commitment of our country to good neighborliness, as well as cooperation within regional and international organizations.

In a conversation with Edgars Rinkevics, Latvia's foreign minister, the Montenegrin foreign minister expressed the expectation that bilateral co-operation would be further strengthened by improving epidemiological conditions. They both exppressed readiness to further strengthen political contacts and dialogue at the highest level.

After the meeting in Athens in April, Minister Radulovic talked in Dubrovnik with Nikos Dendias, the head of Greek diplomacy, where good and friendly relations between the two countries were confirmed, followed by intensive political dialogue at the highest level. Strong support of Greece for Montenegro's European goals was emphasized once again.

During a meeting with Christian Schmidt, the High Representative for BiH, it was especially pointed out that a stable region is a precondition for the prosperity of all the countries that are heading towards the EU.
