National Coordinator for NATO discuss Euro-Atlantic integration with representatives of academic community

Podgorica, Montenegro (6 december 2013) –  National Coordinator for NATO Nebojsa Kaluđerović met earlier today with representatives of Montenegro's academic community for talks on the country’s path towards the NATO membership.

Mr Kaluđerović stressed that cooperation with the University of Montenegro and the Academy of Sciences and Arts is an important segment of open dialogue on Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic integration process.

He informed the representatives of the academic community about the activities of the Council for NATO Membership and the Communication Team, voicing willingness and openness to cooperation, especially when it comes to informing young people and students, which requires interactive communication on contemporary global developments.

Both sides expressed readiness to continue open and meaningful communication on this issue of national importance, with emphasis on the necessity of deepening and broadening knowledge about the significance of NATO integration, which has already been included in the curriculum for the Faculty of Humanities.
