NDI office in Podgorica closing, good cooperation commended, new projects announced

In the tremendous progress Montenegro has achieved in the last decade the support of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) has been of great importance, Deputy Prime Minister Dusko Markovic remarked at a meeting with NDI Vice-President Shari K. Bryan and her associates on Friday, March 9, on the occasion of the closing of the NDI field office in Montenegro.
NDI representatives underlined they have been very satisfied with the cooperation provided by the Government, the Parliament, political parties and other stakeholders in Montenegro and announced further regional projects that would include Montenegro.
They stated that after the office in Podgorica closes, the NDI will continue to have a representative in Montenegro.
