Agreement on Cooperation with Cyprus signed in Nicosia

Montenegrin Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic visited Nicosia on the occasion of signing the Agreement on Defence Cooperation with his Cypriot counterpart Kostas Papakostas.
The Agreement forms the basis for future defence cooperation.

On that occasion, Montenegrin Minister briefed his counterpart on the strategic goals of Montenegro to become a full member of NATO and the EU. On the way, with full responsibilities to the obligations and recommendations, Montenegro adopts the standards that recommend Montenegro to be in a collective security system as soon as possible.
