Montenegro partner in achieving European vision, EU Commissioner Füle says

Brussels, 9 May 2011 -- The building of a common Europe is a dynamic ongoing process, European Commissioner for Enlargement Štefan Füle noted in his statement on the occasion of Europe Day on 9th May, expressing his full satisfaction that Montenegro is the part of the process. “I am committed to continuing to work determinedly together with Montenegro towards the vision of Robert Schuman,” European Commissioner Füle added.

He underlined that if Europe is to fulfill its political and economic prospective, it has to share common goals and principles as to resolving conflicts, building peace, safeguarding human rights and achieving prosperity for all. This gradual and tangible cooperation is of paramount importance for the process of enlarging the European Union, the European Commissioner remarked.
