A meeting was held at NATO headquarters in Brussels on 23 May 2011 for the adoption of PARP assessment of Montenegro for 2011. Montenegrin delegation was led by Deputy Minister Drasko Jovanovic, Chief of the Army of Montenegro, Vice Admiral Dragan Samardzic.
PARP is an essential mechanism for force planning, reaching NATO standard and measuring progress of the partner countries within the Partnership for Peace program and MAP. The meeting was successful and all NATO members commended the progress of Montenegro in Partnership for Peace and MAP.
This meeting was an excellent introduction to the analysis of Montenegro's first Annual National Programme of MAP, which will be held in June in Brussels.
