Minister Vucinic received representatives of the EUROMIL

Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic received today representatives of the European Organisation of Military Associations (EUROMIL), President Emmanuel Jacob and Vice President Bernhard Gertz.
Minister Vucinic said that the tradition of military unionization did not exist until recently in Montenegro, and that is why it is very helpful to learn about different experiences in order to find the best way to organize this area in accordance with best European practice and in order to create conditions for the easy operation of unions.
Representatives of EUROMIL said that it is important to have satisfied individuals who are also committed to the organization they work in and who accept the goals of the organization as their own.
“Unions have to realize that they are a part of the military system and they should work in the common interest”, EUROMIL representatives said, and stressed the importance of readiness of the Ministry of Defence to discuss the issue.
Representatives of EUROMIL also met with Deputy Minister for Human Resources Rajko Novicevic, President of the Union of the Armed Forces of Montenegro Lieutenant Colonel Mladen Buric and President of the Union Organisation of the Armed Forces of Montenegro Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Cobeljic.
Representatives of EUROMIL announced continuing cooperation with the MoD and the Armed Forces of Montenegro, as well as a working visit to Montenegro on September 19.
