Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic received today a farewell visit of the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Amal Mourad.
Minister Vucinic thanked the Ambassador Mourad for her contribution to the successful cooperation between the two countries in the past. Both sides agreed that there is scope for its further intensification.
The importance of Montenegro's contribution to global peace and stability by participating in ISAF mission was highlighted at the meeting,.
Minister Vucinic informed the Ambassador Mourad that the member states of NATO in Brussels very positively assessed the Montenegro's progress in implementing the first ANP. Ministry of Defence will work in the same dynamics in the process of reforms, which is the best way to achieve the standards to full membership in NATO.
Ambassador Mourad pointed out that Montenegro will in this process have the full support of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the future.
