Minister Vucinic at the meeting of defence ministers in Poland

Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic participated today in the Republic of Poland at the working meeting of defence ministers of EU member countries, candidate countries and NATO member non-EU countries. The meeting was organized by the Polish Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton. The meeting is part of the Republic of Poland's agenda of its six-month EU presidency.

Topic of the meeting was the cooperation of EU countries in defence and security. Also, "pooling and sharing" project was also discussed, i.e. the possibility of joint action in security challenges and crisis situations, in order to save the national military capabilities.
