Podgorica, Montenegro (29 April 2015) – Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Igor Lukšić strongly condemns the attack on a police station in Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he regrets the death of one and wounding of two police officers.
The brutal attack, driven by political and religious radicalism, is not only a direct threat to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also to interethnic relations in the region and the Western Balkan’ stability, as well as to overall global activities being undertaken against all forms of violence and terrorism.
The unfortunate event remind us of the necessity of continuous, determined and joint struggle against all forms of violence, both at regional and global levels.
