''Montenegro is first applicant or aspirant country we are going to address,'' says NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg

Washington D.C., the USA (28 May 2015) – Speaking today at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington D.C., NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed that the Alliance will continues pursuing the open door policy and that the decision on Montenegro’s membership is to be reached by the end of the year.
’’What we decided in Wales was that the first applicant or aspirant country we're going to address is Montenegro. And as I said, we're going to address Montenegro later this year,” the NATO Secretary General underscored.
