Signed a Plan of bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Slovenia

Head of the Directorate for International Cooperation LtC Velibor Bakrač and Slovenian Defense Advisor at the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro Primož Šavc have signed today a defense and military Plan of bilateral cooperation for 2017. between the Ministries of Defense of Montenegro and the Republic of Slovenia.
Future cooperation in the field of defense will be carried out through the exchange of experiences related to the accession negotiations with NATO engagement in multinational operations, the implementation of joint exercises and deepening cooperation between navies, in order to improve, interoperability and increasing the level of operational forces.
In addition, defense cooperation will be carried out in the areas of human and material resources, public relations, finance and other.
The Plan of bilateral cooperation for 2017. reflects a common interests and represents a qualitative and quantitative improvement compared to the previous years.
