PM Marković meets with representatives of "Vijesti": Freedom of media is permanent commitment of Government

Podgorica, Montenegro (1 September 2017) -- On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of "Vijesti" daily newspaper, Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković met today with a member of the Board of Directors of the Austrian "Styria Media Group AG", which is the co-owner of "Vijesti", dr Klaus Schweighofer and the CEO of "Vijesti" daily newspaper Željko Ivanović.
The
Prime Minister congratulated them on the jubilee, stressing that the freedom of
the media is a permanent commitment of the Government of Montenegro and a value
that contributes to the free society.
