Washington: General Daković at the Conference dedicated to Countering Violent Extremist Organisations

On invitation of General Joseph Dunford, Chairperson of Joint Chiefs of Staff of USA AF, Chief of Defence of the Armed Force of Montenegro, Brigadier General Ilija Daković is participating at the Conference “Countering Violent Extremist Organisations“(C-VEO) which is taking place for the second time in Washington, USA.
At the conference participate about 50 CHODs and other representatives of 79 countries.
CHODs discussed about the improvement of understanding and promotion of common strategic approaches on countering violent extremism as well as presenting the results and possibilities of coordination of existing regional military activities aiming the support to these efforts at globally.
The conference has the goal to secure wider support and participation of larger number of countries, enhancing the multilateral exchange of information and strategic harmonization of existing regional initiatives.
