PM Marković sends condolences over Senator John McCain's death

Podgorica, Montenegro (26 August 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković sent on behalf of the Government and citizens of Montenegro and in his own name a letter expressing deepest condolences over the death of US Senator John McCain.
The Senator's bravery and wisdom were inspiring for Montenegro and a big voice of support in the period when we were making democratic progress towards NATO membership. Senator John McCain was first of all a sincere friend of Montenegro and we will be forever grateful to him, the telegram of condolence reads.
