PM Marković: Citizens of Kolašin will be first ones to derive benefit from motorway

Podgorica, Montenegro (26 August 2018) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the citizens and leadership of Kolašin on the Municipality Day saying that they will be the first ones to derive benefit from the motorway as a capital infrastructure project and that he expects from the new leadership of the Municipality to be committed to the finalisation of development projects whose implementation is in progress with a view to raising the standard of living and quality of life of the citizens.
The Prime Minister reiterated the strategic commitment of the Government to investing in the northern region of Montenegro.
"As the Prime Minister, I want to turn north into an area that will be the cornerstone of Montenegro in economic, social and cultural terms," he underlined.
Prime Minister Marković and Kolasin's leadership discussed ideas for several concrete projects, such as the business zone, city heating system and solid waste management, as well as the need to improve utility and other services.
