Hungary strongly supports Montenegro's EU bid

Montenegro has achieved good results in accession negotiations and can count on Hungary's strong support for its efforts to become the next EU member, the meetings Chief Negotiator Aleksandar Drljević had in Budapest with the Hungarian officials stressed.

The Chief Negotiator informed his hosts about the results achieved by Montenegro by opening chapters 32 and 33, hopeful that the remaining Chapter 8 - Competition will be opened soon, which will round off one phase of the European integration process.
