Prime Minister Milo Djukanovics comments on the election of Boris Tadic as President of Serbia
Published on: Jun 28, 2004 • 6:56 PM Author: Naslovna strana
I extend my heartiest congratulations to Mr. Boris Tadic for his election as President of Serbia. At the same time, I congratulate all Serbian citizens, who decided to vote for a democratic candidate and by electing the President of the Republic rounded off their state institutions.
This choice is the confirmation of a democratic and pro-European orientation of Serbia and a clear signal that the situation in the Balkans is being stabilized.
I believe that all democratic forces in Serbia will now concentrate on the implementation of reform tasks, which is a necessary precondition on the path to the EU. On the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration Montenegro will always be a constructive and reliable partner to Serbia and all other countries in the region.
