Podgorica, Montenegro (24 March 2020) -- Ambassador of France to Montenegro Christine Toudic thanked Prime Minister Duško Marković for assistance of Montenegro and the national air carrier in transporting French nationals back home.
"On behalf of the Republic of France, on behalf of my compatriots and on my own behalf, I would like to thank you most gratefully for the assistance that your Government, your civil service and Montenegro Airlines provided to our fellow citizens, in order to return to France," the Ambassador Toudic's letter to Prime Minister Duško Marković reads.
In her letter, the Ambassador expresses gratitude to Ambassador of Montenegro to Paris Ivan Ivanišević for his hard work and time.
"In such a difficult period that we are going through, solidarity is needed and Montenegro's solidarity was exemplary. It reaffirms, if that is even necessary, the excellent relations between our two countries," reads the letter of French Ambassador Christine Toudic to PM Duško Marković.
Yesterday, Montenegro Airlines transported 46 citizens of the French Republic from Podgorica on a flight to Paris, from where it brought our citizens.
