Announced Request for Express of Interest for purchase of 65,4394% of share capital of Kombinat Aluminijuma Podgorica

09.08.2004. Agency for Economic Restructuring and Foreign Investments has announced a Request for Express of Interest for purchase of 65,4394% of share capital of Kombinat Aluminijuma Podgorica. Request was announced in the domestic press ("Pobjeda", "Danas") and international press (Metal Bulletin magazine specialized for metallurgy sector), at the Agency web site www.agencijacg.org and World Bank web site. Notice on announcement of the Request was also enclosed to the economy departments of international embassies in Serbia and Montenegro, as well as to the potential investors that during the process of market assessment had expressed their interest for purchase of KAP shares. Closing date (last day for express of interest) is September 13, 2004.

Considering participation in the tender, candidates should express their interest individually or as the leaders of consortium and have to enclose an evidence for fulfillment of eligibility conditions from the Request for express of interest.

Candidates who meet the conditions from the Request for Express of Interest shall qualify for participation in the tender. Upon signing the Confidentiality Agreement candidates shall be invited to purchase the tender documentation (information memorandum, Tender rules with detailed information about proposed transaction including instructions for due diligence implementation, SPA draft, and bid selection criteria) and to deliver final bids.
Date for submission of final bids shall be December 1, 2004.

Upon evaluation of submitted bids, negotiations for execution of the SPA shall commence with the first-rank bidder.
