Completion of the destruction of seized tobacco products in the Free Zone “Port of Bar”

The Coordination Body for the inventory of seized goods in the Free Zone “Port of Bar”, led by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, will officially mark the completion of the destruction of seized tobacco products in the Free Zone on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, at 13:00.

The process was supported by the European Union and the United Kingdom, with technical assistance from the UK’s HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

On this occasion, in addition to Prime Minister Spajić, the EU Ambassador to Montenegro Johann Sattler and the UK Ambassador Dawn McKen will also address the media at the Free Zone “Port of Bar”.

The event is open to the media.

The Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide video and photo material to the media.
