Representatives from CIRT participated in the Global CyberDrill event from 23 to 25 April. The event was organized and supported by the Cybersecurity Council (CSC) of the United Arab Emirates in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). This exercise achieved the Guinness World Record for bringing together the largest number of cyber experts from 108 different countries. Our team had the privilege of being part of this historic initiative.

Our team spent three days in Dubai, participating in an intensive cooperation and knowledge exchange program focused on cybersecurity. The exercise was a great opportunity for our team to test their skills and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity and improve their technical capabilities. We were able to exchange experiences with experts from different parts of the world and gain new perspectives on current trends and challenges in the field.

CyberDrill is an annual event that takes place regionally and internationally. It simulates cyberattacks to test the cyber capabilities of all ITU member organizations. This event is designed to improve the cyber resilience of CERT/CIRT/CSIRT teams and preserve critical information infrastructure. It highlights the importance of these teams in managing cyber threats effectively.
