Third bilateral consultations held between Montenegro and Estonia

The third bilateral consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia were held on December 5, 2024, in Podgorica.

The consultations were led by Acting Director-General for Bilateral Affairs Aleksandar Drljević, on the Montenegrin side, and Director-General for European Affairs Siri Konigsberg, on the Estonian side.

The importance of strengthening political dialogue between the two countries was emphasized, and proposals for the exchange of visits at the highest level in the upcoming period were considered. The interlocutors placed special emphasis on cooperation in the field of cyber security, given the current challenges, and the significant support that Estonia provides to Montenegro in this important segment.

The consultations provided an opportunity to present the upcoming steps on the path of European integration, for which Montenegro has the full support of Estonia.

The delegations also exchanged views on current geopolitical issues, with a special focus on Montenegro's support for Ukraine.
