WTO advanced course on analyzing trade in services

The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) is organizing Advanced Course on Analyzing Trade In Services, to be held from 4 to 7 June 2024, in Geneva, Switzerland. The course is a "Level 3" specialized training and members may nominate up to two officials.

The course is targeted at government officials at mid- to senior-level with at least two years of relevant work experience who are directly involved in the formulation of trade in services policy and/or the conduct of multilateral or preferential services negotiations. It is also targeted to trade analysts and capital - based trade in services experts supporting the formulation of policies or negotiations.

Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) who meet the requirements outlined in the invitation letter, are invited to submit applications along with accompanying documents (CV and a copy of passport) to the Ministry of Economic Development. These should be send to the following e-mail addresses: aida.salagic@mek.gov.me i nikoleta.milutinovic@mek.gov.me, no later than April 22, 2024.

The application form must be completed and signed by the candidate as well as by the nominating authority which presents the candidate, as well as stamped, and submitted to the Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation of the WTO (through the Mission in Geneva) no later than April 25, 2024.

Only civil servants who satisfy the requirements stipulated in the invitation letter will be considered in the selection process by the WTO Secretariat.
