Podgorica, Montenegro (25 April 2019) -- Ministry of Justice of Montenegro sent a request to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia for the extradition of Svetozar Marović in order to serve a prison sentence to which he had been convicted in Montenegro.
Even before the aforementioned extradition request was made, by issuing an international Interpol warrant, all legal preconditions were created for Svetozar Marovič to be deprived of liberty in Serbia and extradited to Montenegro, as it is the case with other persons whom Montenegro claims and whose extraditions from Serbia are regularly and promptly implemented.
