Abazović meets with Monsignor Paglia: Montenegro is ready to contribute to dialogue in the Balkans

Deputy Prime Minister  Dritan Abazović paid a visit to the Community of Sant'Egidio, where he was welcomed by Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia, the President of the Pontifical Academy for Life, at whose invitation he is staying there.

After visiting the church of Sant'Egidio, Paglia and Abazović discussed reconciliation in the Western Balkans.

Montenegro is ready to contribute to the dialogue in the Balkans, Deputy Prime Minister Abazović said.

Monsignor Paglia, leader of the Saint Egidio community, presented the medal of this community to Abazović and expressed hope that there will be more people in the Western Balkans who propagate universal values and work on strengthening the spirit of unity.

The Community of Sant'Egidio is present in 73 countries around the world. The Community pays attention to the periphery and peripheral people, gathering men and women of all ages and conditions, united by a fraternal tie through the voluntary and free commitment for the poor and peace.
