The rule of law is urgently needed in this region. Abazović met with today with the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Montenegro, H.E. Theodorus Antonius Reintjes.

The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the relations between Montenegro and the Kingdom of the Netherlands will be further intensified with the opening of consulates in the two countries. Abazović said that Montenegro wants to boost economic cooperation with the Netherlands and increase investment by Dutch investors.

Ambassador Reintjes stated that the two countries promote excellent relations and that the cooperation between the police departments of the two countries is at a high level.

The officials agreed that the two countries nurture friendly relations, based on intensive cooperation in several areas, and that they are marked by common goals and similar interests within the NATO and EU partnership.
