Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović attended a concert yesterday at the Ulcinj Cultural Centre, which was performed by the violinist Aksa Murati as a sign of gratitude to the medical workers of the Primary Helath Care Centre Ulcinj and the Emergency Service Ulcinj.

On behalf of the Government of Montenegro, DPM Abazović presented letters of appreciation to the Primary Helath Care Centre Ulcinj and the Emergency Service Ulcinj for "significant contribution to preserving and strengthening the Montenegrin health system, especially in the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic", and to Aksa Murati "for significant social contribution and selfless support during the coronavirus crisis".

Addressing the audience, DPM Dritan Abazović said that Ulcinj and Montenegro are winning an extremely difficult battle and expressed hope that the concert will touch the souls of those who unfortunately lost the battle with the virus, but also be an incentive for citizens to show solidarity in the future and do the right things for their community.

In his address, DPM Abazović also referred to the difficult period that the Montenegrin health system overcame and recalled a particularly difficult moment when, together with Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović, they tried to provide vaccines for Montenegro through international addresses.
