Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ibrahimović attends funeral of His Majesty King Harald V in Oslo

The funeral service was held today at Oslo Cathedral, with a large number of members of royal families, heads of state and government, foreign ministers and other high-ranking officials in attendance.

Following the funeral, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović attended a reception hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Espen Barth Eide at Oslo City Hall. Minister Ibrahimović was also among the guests at a reception at the Royal Palace, attended by members of royal families and senior officials from partner and allied countries.

During his meeting with His Majesty King Haakon, Her Majesty Queen Sonja and Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Ibrahimović once again conveyed, on behalf of the Government and citizens of Montenegro, sincere condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Norway on the passing of King Harald V.

By attending the funeral service and the royal reception, Montenegro paid tribute to the late Norwegian monarch, who will be remembered for his decades-long dedication to his country and its citizens, as well as for his contribution to the values of peace, democracy and international cooperation.
