Director of National Security Agency Ivica Janović meets Ambassador of Croatia Veselko Grubišić

Montenegro and Croatia are demonstrating willingness to improve bilateral relations at all levels of cooperation, with the security sector playing an essential role for both countries, Director of the National Security Agency Ivica Janović and Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Montenegro Veselko Grubišić stated in a meeting earlier today.

In that regard, cooperation between the two countries is assessed as very good, with a commitment expressed to significantly contribute to achieving the common interest of a more secure region for all citizens through intensified contacts in the upcoming period.

Both sides agreed that Montenegro's European perspective is encouraged by fulfilling obligations in chapters 23 and 24, and that Croatia, as a neighbour and an EU member, supports Montenegro’s efforts to become the 28th member by 2028.
