DPM Abazović meets with EU member states' ambassadors

We are firmly committed to our European path, to faster and more efficient closing of the most important chapters of the negotiation process, so that Montenegro becomes the first next member of the European Union as soon as possible, stressed Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović at a meeting with EU member states' ambassadors. 

Today's meeting discussed the current political situation.

Good discussion today with EU member states’ ambassadors and Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović. All stakeholders in Montenegro need to find a consensus and work together on key EU-related reforms to enable further progress of Montenegro towards the European Union, Head of the EU delegation to Montenegro Oana Cristina Popa tweeted.

The meeting discussed the current political situation in Montenegro, the Progress Report, as well as activities that are expected in the coming period.
