Ibrahimović and Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud: Support for strengthening overall cooperation between Montenegro and Saudi Arabia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović held a bilateral meeting in Riyadh with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

Ibrahimović emphasized that Montenegro and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia share a clear commitment to deepening mutual connectivity, strengthening economic cooperation, and enhancing the links between business communities, which forms the basis for further development of overall relations. He expressed particular satisfaction with the intensified communication at both the political and working levels, confident that the mutually beneficial momentum will continue to deepen in the coming period. In this context, the visit marks an important step forward in strengthening bilateral relations, which will be further reinforced by the opening of Montenegro’s Embassy in Riyadh.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud expressed readiness to further advance the overall cooperation between the two countries. Praising Montenegro’s ambitious development vision and the prospect of its upcoming EU membership, he conveyed strong interest in intensifying investment activities, recognizing Montenegro as an attractive and stable environment for the development of new projects in areas of shared interest. He also underlined the importance of continuous dialogue at all levels as the foundation for further progress in bilateral relations, expressing confidence that new formats of cooperation will contribute to stronger institutional connectivity. Additionally, he highlighted Saudi Arabia’s openness to considering new initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides agreed that economic and trade cooperation hold special potential, and therefore should remain a priority focus. It was concluded that mutual understanding and dialogue represent the basis for joint activities undertaken for the benefit of both countries and their citizens.

They also exchanged views on major geopolitical developments and reaffirmed their readiness to continue acting constructively and contributing to the strengthening of international peace and security.
