Ivanović, Mársico: Shared interest in strengthening political dialogue confirmed

Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović met today with the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to Montenegro, based in Belgrade, H.E. Osvaldo Mársico.

In a cordial and constructive atmosphere, both officials expressed satisfaction with the traditionally friendly relations between Montenegro and Argentina and highlighted their mutual readiness to further enhance bilateral cooperation. The discussions focused on opportunities to deepen collaboration in the fields of economy, tourism, culture, and science.

They also exchanged views on current global and regional issues, as well as on cooperation within international organisations. They particularly emphasised mutual support for candidacies in multilateral fora and the importance of continuing such cooperation.

During the meeting, both sides confirmed their shared interest in strengthening political dialogue, including the organisation of high-level visits, among them the upcoming visit of Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović to Argentina in December this year.

The meeting marks a significant step forward in deepening relations between Montenegro and Argentina, underscoring the commitment of both sides to concrete initiatives and to maintaining continuous communication.
