Joković meets Ambassador of Albania

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Vladimir Joković received Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Montenegro Ridi Kurtezi.

Director of the Directorate for Water Management Željko Furtula, Head of the Department for International Cooperation Milena Vukotić, and Enis Đokaj from the Directorate for Rural Development were also present at the meeting.

The Ambassador congratulated Minister Joković on his appointment, and expressed belief that they would continue and improve cooperation during his term of office.

The Minister referred to the exceptionally good relations between Montenegro and Albania and emphasised the readiness and openness for talks in order to further strengthen them.

The officials concluded that agricultural cooperation must be raised to a higher level.

Joković informed the Ambassador about the activities in the field of agriculture, forestry and water management, as well as the current status of fulfilling the agenda of negotiating chapters 11, 12 and 13.

Both sides confirmed their readiness to further strengthen and improve cooperation between Montenegro and Albania, through business cooperation, economic activity and trade.
