Joković, Negyesi: Hungary supports Montenegro's European path

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Vladimir Joković met with Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Montenegro Jozsef Negyesi. 

The Ambassador congratulated Minister Joković on his appointment and expressed belief that they would continue and improve cooperation during his term of office.

The meeting stressed good cooperation between the two countries, as evidenced by the presence of numerous Hungarian investors in Montenegro.

The two officials agreed that that it is important to improve cooperation in the field of agriculture, especially in food production. The idea of promoting Montenegrin products such as cheese, olive oil, prosciutto and honey on the Hungarian market was also mentioned as a type of potential cooperation.

Given that Montenegro is committed to its EU integration process, the Ambassador emphasised that Hungary will continue to provide all the necessary support in order to accelerate and strengthen Montenegro's European path.

Minister Joković pointed out that the Government of Montenegro is doing everything to create the best possible business environment for new investors and expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries.
