Marija Hajduković

Acting Director General of the Directorate for Strategic Planning in Public Administration, International Cooperation and IPA Projects

Marija Hajduković was born in Podgorica.

Education

She completed primary and secondary school in Podgorica.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro. After an internship in the judicial system of Montenegro, she passed the judiciary and Bar Exam. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of European and State Studies.

Career

She began her professional career in 2004 as an intern at the Regional Misdemeanor Body in Podgorica. She continued her career as a secretary in the Administrative Court from 2008-2014 and then as an advisor in the Administrative Court of Montenegro, where she performed tasks related to the drafting of court decisions.

From 2017-2018 she continues her career in the Ministry of Public Administration as the Head of the Department for Monitoring the Process of Public Administration Reform in the Ministry of Public Administration, while from 2018-2019 was Acting Director General for Good Public Administration and Activities of Non - Governmental Organizations in the Ministry of Public Administration.

In the Ministry of Public Administration, she managed the establishment of mechanisms for monitoring and follow-up of public administration reform and the group that monitored the said process. She also coordinated the preparation of reports on the results of the reform, which were recognized in the country and by foreign partners as an example of quality reporting on the achieved results.

Also, in her work so far she has been involved in the preparation of the Law on Civil Servants and State Employees, the Law on Volunteering, and the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy 2018-2020 and the implementation of other activities related to the improvement of the public administration system in Montenegro, such as the eParticipation and ePetition portals, the creation of an electronic register for the registration of civil society organizations.

Her professional orientation is strategic planning, monitoring and management of public administration reform processes. She is a member of the Special Group for Public Administration Reform, which is part of the political dialogue between Montenegro and the European Union, with regard to public administration reform.

She is a SIGMA / OECD expert in the field of monitoring the public administration reform, a certified External CAF Feedback expert, a contact person in Montenegro for the CAF network within EUPAN. She has been hired as a lecturer in the Human Resources Management Authority in the field of public consultation standards and policy making.

She is the winner of the award of the Ministry of Public Administration for the greatest contribution to public administration reform for 2017.

She speaks English.
