Minister Injac meets with members of the Defence and Security Council

Minister of Defence Olivera Injac had a meeting today with members of the Defence and Security Council: the President of Montenegro, Mr. Milo Đukanović, the President of the Parliament, Mr. Aleksa Bečić and the Prime Minister, Mr. Zdravko Krivokapić, on the occasion of resolving important issues for the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Montenegro.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to decisions that are within the competence of the Defence and Security Council, such as the appointment, promotion and dismissal of Armed Forces officers.

Among these issues, the appointment of a new Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro was certainly the most important. The decision of the Defence and Security Council on the appointment of the new Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro is expected to be made at the session of the Council, which will be held by the end of this week.

Having in mind disinformation that appeared in certain media, the Ministry of Defence wants to inform the public about the topics of the meeting.
