Minister Mitrović to pay a visit to the Republic of Slovenia

Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism Ratko Mitrović will take part in the informal meeting of environment ministers on 20 and 21 July 2021 in Ljubljana, at the invitation of Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Andrej Vizjak.

The meeting will be attended by environment ministers from European Union countries, developing countries, representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament.

An informal meeting of environment ministers is organised within the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union to discuss key issues in the field of biodiversity and climate change, ahead of the upcoming conferences of the signatories to the Convention on Biodiversity and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Having in mind the importance and thematic areas of the visit, members of the delegation of the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism led by Minister Ratko Mitrović will be: Jovana Žarić, Acting Director General of the Directorate for EU Integration, International Cooperation and Climate Change; Tamara Brajović, Acting Director General of the Directorate for Nature; Dušan Bugarin, Acting Director General of the Directorate for Ecology; and Draško Boljević, Acting Director of the Environmental Protection Fund (Eco Fund).
