The delegation of the Ministry of Education, led by Minister Miomir Vojinović, is attending the Education World Forum, which is being held in London from 22 to 25 May.

Given the worldwide disruption to schooling and unprecedented challenges we have all been facing as a result of COVID-19, the theme of EWF 2022 is ‘Education: building forward together, stronger, bolder, better’, which addressed how our education systems have experienced the pandemic and how they are responding.

Minister Vojinović met with Chair of All-Party Parliamentary Group on Montenegro and a member of Parliament of the United Kingdom Alex Sobel and Co-Chair Martin Vickers. On this occasion, the Minister once again expressed his gratitude to the British Council for the productive, long-term cooperation, which resulted in numerous projects and gave immeasurable importance to the Montenegrin educational system.

The officials discussed the possibilities of improving cooperation in the field of education. Minister Vojinović concluded that the Education World Forum is an exceptional opportunity to provide valuable impact on Montenegrin education and strengthen bilateral relations with our international partners through the exchange of experiences with other education systems and examples of good practice.

Director of the Directorate for European Integration, Programming and Implementation of EU Funds and International Cooperation in the Ministry of Education Goran Drobnjak and Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Montenegro in London Nataša Jovović were also present at the meeting.
