Ministry of Sports and Youth signs Agreement with Montenegrin Olympic Committee

A significant step was taken today in advancing sports initiatives in Montenegro with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee. The agreement, signed by Dragoslav Šćekić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sports and Youth, and Dušan Simonović, President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, aims to enhance joint efforts in promoting sports, physical activity, and youth engagement.

The agreement specifically envisages collaboration on international projects, particularly those funded by the European Union, focusing on capacity building in sports organizations and promoting inclusive participation in sports at all levels. The Ministry and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee have committed to developing joint projects that will not only improve the sports sector by building capacities but also promote sports participation and talent development across the country.

Additionally, the agreement includes provisions for organizing training programmes, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing the capabilities of sports organizations and coaches.
