Montenegro underscores UN importance on International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace

On the occasion of the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović underscored the central role of the United Nations and the UN Charter in advancing global peace and cooperation.

In an increasingly complex global landscape, effective multilateralism, grounded in international law, mutual respect and inclusive dialogue, remains indispensable for preserving peace, security and sustainable development.

Montenegro remains firmly committed to actively contributing to multilateral efforts in support of global peace and stability, the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
