Operational Team for Monitoring the Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy holds its 17th session

The Operational Team for Monitoring the Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy, chaired by Vladan Raičević, Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Judiciary and Anti-Corruption, held its 17th session, during which key strategic measures aimed at improving the efficiency of data exchange between institutions were discussed.
Special emphasis was placed on measures related to interoperability, as achieving automatic data exchange between system institutions will contribute to more effective detection and prevention of corruption.
The meeting focused on concrete steps needed to improve interoperability, as well as the challenges that may arise during implementation. The need to secure resources for the successful implementation of these measures was also discussed. All relevant institutions involved in the fight against corruption were identified with the aim of establishing the best possible coordination, as well as a joint legal and operational framework that will define how institutions should cooperate, exchange information, and share resources.
Through the work of the Operational Team, as well as the functioning of the National Anti-Corruption Council, non-governmental organizations are included in order to ensure transparency and accountability, all with the aim of creating a more efficient and better-coordinated system that will contribute to the fight against corruption in Montenegro.
The preparation of the final report on the implementation of the two-year Action Plan is underway. In March, the report will be presented both to the National Council and to international institutions that provide assessments of the success of Montenegro’s reform agenda.
