Osaka: Concert by Ana Vukazić marks three million visitors to the area hosting Montenegro’s Pavilion

To mark the milestone of over three million visitors to the area hosting Montenegro’s Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, a concert by Montenegrin pianist Ana Vukazić was held in the Japanese city.
Vukazić performed for two consecutive days, captivating audiences and drawing strong public interest.
In addition to her own compositions, she performed, among other works, Ondo no Funauta by Japanese composer Hajime Okumura.
It has been a great pleasure to perform before the Japanese audience and contribute to Montenegro’s outstanding presentation at this prestigious event. Participating in the World Expo is both a great honor and responsibility for any artist – it is an opportunity to showcase the cultural identity and creative potential of one’s country to an international audience. Performing at Montenegro’s Pavilion is a special moment in my career, allowing me to connect contemporary musical expression with the tradition and spirit of my homeland, said Vukazić.
According to data provided by the organizers, over 26 million visitors have attended the Expo during the past six months, while more than three million have visited the Commons C area, where Montenegro is showcased under the slogan “Celebrating Togetherness.”
The World Expo 2025 Kansai Osaka concludes on 13 October.
